Mr CM, why you moved? Is it the feng shui?

PENANG – Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has another issue to attend to, apart from the controversial issue of Kampung Buah Pala. The issue now is the relocation of his official residence at Jalan Macalister to a posh bungalow at Jalan Pinhorn.

lim-guan-eng-3.pngDid he get an advice from a feng shui master to change his address?

Or was it because the official residence of the Penang Chief Minister at Seri Teratai was infested with termites, as the CM had previously claimed?

Feng Shui Master Lee Cheng Hoe writes in his blog (http://penangfengshui.blogspot.com) recently that the Chief Minister’s office is located at the 28th floor of the Komtar tower.

He said this had not brought a close relationship with Mother Earth.

Better to stay in landed bungalows

This, he reasoned, was why the tycoons in Penang love to stay in landed bungalows.

It also tells us why it is better to have a landed property than to stay high in a condominium ... if we can afford it.

seri-teratai.jpgLee said, in his view, this was the reason the previous chief ministers (Dr Lim Chong Eu and his successor Dr Koh Tsu Koon) lost their power in the elections and had not been able to easily or comfortably retire from their position.

He advised Guan Eng to seriously think about this if he wished to have good end to his political career.

Maybe the suggestion from Lee had made the CM change his residence.

State Gerakan Youth demanded on Monday that Guan Eng should give an answer as to why he moved to the posh bungalow. Its deputy head H’ng Khoon Leng said Guan Eng should tell the public the truth since the Penang state government slogan is ‘efficient, accountability and transparency (CAT).
He said Guan Eng’s excuse of termites, red ants and foxes at Seri Teratai was a minor issue that could be solved immediately. To put the blame on the animals and insects is ridiculous,” said H’ng.
