Apply early, school leavers urged

PETALING JAYA – Apply early to avoid complications. This is the advice of the Higher Education Ministry to SPM and STPM school leavers.
The ministry is telling prospective students to apply directly at the Universities Admission Unit’s (UPU) official website, which has been open to applications since February.
Each student may apply once and three updates can be made before the March 30 dateline.
Applicants and parents can also obtain accurate and current information on proper application procedures by visiting the “Jom Masuk U” carnivals by the Higher Education Ministry.
Apply on the spot
Assistance and counselling services will be provided at the carnival and students can even submit their applications on the spot.
The carnival will make a stop at Universiti Malaysia Pahang on March 20 and 21, before heading to Stadium Indera Mulia in Ipoh on March 27 and 28.
