KUALA LUMPUR -- PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang will contest in the next general election, according to a party decision.
PAS information chief Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said the party's political bureau, at a meeting on Thursday, unanimously agreed that Abdul Hadi must contest in the 13th general election.
"The president has agreed to abide by the decision," he said in a statement yesterday.
As such, he said, the question of Abdul Hadi not contesting in the next general election does not arise.
