SIK -- The Felda community has been urged to look back at the benefits they have been able to enjoy and reap following efforts made by the government since they become settlers.
Felda chairman Isa Abdul Samad said those who supported the opposition should think whether it was apt for them to do so.
There is nothing stopping them (settlers who support the opposition) from leaving the land scheme, he added.
He said no other government in any country had ever set up a "luxury settlement" like what had been done by the Alliance government, when the late Tun Razak Hussein was prime minister, in setting up Felda.
"Until now, Felda remains the pride of the people, and outsiders are impressed with the government's capability in setting up Felda," he said at a gathering with Felda Teloi Timur settlers here on Friday.
At the function, he also presented two wheel-chairs to two settlers and food-aid to senior citizens there.
