KUANTAN -- Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob is confident that the state Barisan Nasional (BN) will defend its victory in the next general election.
He said no issue played up by the opposition in Pahang could shake their confidence in continuing their rule of the state government.
"Issues are never ending and the opposition will keep bringing them up here (Pahang), but I'm confident that BN will not only remain in Pahang but also Putrajaya," said Adnan.
He was speaking to reporters after attending the Kuantan Federation of Tionghua Associations Chinese New Year Open House 2012, here on Thursday.
Also present were MCA Deputy President Liow Tiong Lai, who is also Health Minister, and Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Hua Zong) president, Pheng Yin Huah.
