With regards to the accusations that MCA is colluding with PERKASA President Ibrahim Ali, the real culprits are in fact the opposition parties of PAS and DAP, both of which have contributed to Ibrahim Ali’s arrogance.

Therefore, they should be the ones to apologize to the Chinese community.

Since last week when Ibrahim Ali had handed out money in white envelopes during PERKASA’s first Chinese New Year open house, DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng and other DAP leaders have been trying to put the blame on MCA by claiming that MCA and PERKASA have a good relationship with each another.

However, I would like to point out that when Ibrahim Ali left UMNO, he had lost his parliamentary seat during the 2004 General Elections. However, thanks to PAS, he was given the chance to contest his seat again in the 2008 General Elections and had won with PAS’s endorsement, thus giving him prominence and allowing him to continue making insulting statements against the Chinese community. Thus, it is PAS and their comrade-in-arms DAP who should apologize.

DAP is very skillful at directing the people’s attention towards MCA and blaming MCA for a lot of things. This has created a lot of misunderstanding among the public towards MCA as the people are not aware of the truth they are therefore easily manipulated by DAP. DAP continues to mislead the public with their speeches and that is why DAP too has to apologize to the Chinese community.
