Others on the team are actor Que Haidar (who will be drama coach), music teacher Siti Hajar (vocal techniques), choreographer Linda Jasmine (dance), composer Adnan Abu Hassan (song performance) and former journalist Fatimah Abu Bakar (counsellor and English coach).
Sarimah will also host the show's side programme 'Debaran AF8' while Jimmy will host the 'Diari AF8' event.
Zainir said the two presenters of the new AF season will not emulate hosts of other talent programmes and their presence is expected to strengthen the show's appeal.

He said the talents will perform every Saturday while the following day would be the elimination segment, where one of them has to leave the show.
He added that this would give fans an opportunity to assess the performance of the participants before submitting their votes (via SMS). - Malaysian Mirror
